Each day of the Power Walkshop includes guided group introspection, inspiring conversations and solo time for reflection. Tanya facilitates the experience offering you the opportunity to reflect on you aspects of their mind, body and nature around them to unlock their purpose.
The journey challenges you physically with the walk (approx 20km per day), but also mentally and spiritually through the transformative lessons. These lessons are carefully designed to peel back layers of self-doubt, clarify purpose, and realign you with your authentic self.
Tanya and her team take care of the logistics, including transporting bags between accommodations and providing healthy meals. You are free to focus on your inner journey without the distractions of everyday life.
The intimate group of 12 participants fosters a supportive and growth-oriented environment, where you can connect with like-minded people, share insights, and form lasting bonds.

You will need to be more than a couch potato but not athletic fit. Somewhere in between will be fine. You'll walk at your own pace. The itinerary factored in an average walking pace of 4km per hour. This is an average walking pace where you can enjoy the walk but not push yourself. It would be advised to do some longer walks leading up to the event.
Yes, we have created The Power Walkshop™ training guide just for you. There are four total running days scheduled on The Power Walkshop™ training plans that are included inside the program from 20 weeks, 16 weeks, 12 weeks and 6 weeks training plans. It depends on your current level of fitness.
Since this training plan is specifically designed for first time walkers, the focus is almost completely on the long walk (23km) and does not include other quality walking workouts such as tempo, runs or hills.

The focus of all 4 of The Power Walkshop™ training plans included in this program are on building endurance! Building endurance and consistency are the keys to walking tThe Power Walkshop™ .
The walk itself has a few hills, stairs, but you require endurance above anything else.
Also, the focus is “keeping it simple” because fancy and complex training plans may lead to injury or burn out.
Absolutely not! You can do the walkshop training which is building you up to walk 23km with ease. You’ll walk 41 kms per week at the height of your training and the week before the event, and you can start by walking about 15 - 20 km per week.
No, you’ll do reduction weeks (where you will take a short break from increasing your long walk) which are built into each of the 4 training plans. This allows for rest and recovery while giving your body time to adapt to the changes in the lead up to the Power Walkshop.
Sydney weather in November has an average daytime temperature around 20°C and high temperatures can hit a balmy 24°C on some days. Springtime does bring with it a greater possibility of rain than at other times of the year. The average amount of rainfall experienced in November is 116mm which occurs over 15 wet days throughout the month.
Sydney weather in June has cooler temperatures averaging 14 to 18 degrees celsius (57 degrees to 64 degree fahrenheit). Sunrise at 7am and sunset at 5pm. There is, on average, 13 days of rain and 33% chance of a cloud free, sunny day.
We will walk rain, hail or shine. The PowerWalkshop is here to teach you about yourself, and if our journey is to have rain, we will dance. If sunshine is what your soul needs, that’s what the Walkshop will provide.

Your luggage will be transported between hotels. Please make sure you bring a day pack for you to carry your essentials between destinations.
Hotel, boutique style hotel, a luxury AirBnB accommodation and, one night, we have basic accommodation due to the location of our rest stop.
An additional $600 for a private room
No, we will not pick you up from the airport. We will drive you back from Avalon to Hyde Park in Sydney CBD at 3:00pm at the latest on Day Five.
